Adrian health and recovery? Where does one go to find out such information and who does one inquire with?
Dude, he is ALWAYS hurt. He has a bad back that limits how much he can play and that's when he is supposedly healthy. This knee injury is but the latest in a long line of injuries. Quit reading the Rockets PR releases. He has to be able to get on the court before he can do anything and that's where he falls short. If he was as good as his press, why did the Mavericks, who need all the defense they can get, show no interest in resigning him? Because they were able to replace him with a younger better player (Josh Howard) that they drafted (ATTN CD! It IS possible to draft a player with only ONE 1st round draft pick who can help your team) who actually can be available to play on a regular basis. For Houston, He was a cheap pickup for the bench who won't be much of a factor this year...or any year.
This may all be true -- I just asking for facts. Due you have anything other than your opinion to offer on Griff. Are there any medical updates on him? Marcus Camby is always injured BUT he is having a great year to date; Chris Webber is always hurt but he's due back in 2 weeks; A. Mcdyess is back and playing really well; Lamar Odom etc. Injuries are a fact of life in the NBA. WHAT ARE THE FACTS ON A. GRIFFINS STATUS???
Last I read.. Agriffin was starting to practice then reaggravated his injury so they have him back in rehab.. hopefully this time he can recuperate fully before any strenous excersize. J
FOUND IT. Dec 04 2003 - Rockets reserve swingman Adrian Griffin is several weeks away from returning from knee surgery. Griffin resumed practicing with the Rockets last month, but the Rockets have decided to take a step back with the injury. "We're going to back off from practicing and rehab him," Rockets trainer Keith Jones said. "We put him on the floor and had him practicing. He could do everything, but he still had the limp and weakness. We're going to back off for a couple weeks and really strengthen it without the pounding on the floor. I think that's going to help him a lot."
