quite possibly the most Alabama headline of all time: https://www.al.com/news/2021/02/tee...acker-barrel-after-civil-war-reenactment.html excerpt: Teen reunited with pet rooster lost at Alabama Cracker Barrel after Civil War reenactment Updated 7:47 AM; Today 7:47 AM From FB page: Missing Buff Orpington Rooster 5,786 shares By Amy Henderson The Cullman Times, Ala. (TNS) and Tribune Media Services When a visiting rooster flew the coop, the people of Cullman stepped up to help reunite the owner with his feathered friend. It all started when 18-year-old Thomas Ramsey, a student at Copiah Academy in Gallman, Miss., and founder of the Muddy Rabbits Mess, a 32-member military reenactment group and the largest youth group nationally, was returning from a Civil War reenactment in Springhill, Tenn., and stopped for lunch on Jan. 31 at Cracker Barrel in Cullman. With him was his friend Jonas Patrick and his Buff Orpington rooster, Peep. Peep is a handsome fellow, in keeping with the standards of this heritage breed of chicken: heavy, with a broad body and low stance and having a “bold, upright and graceful” carriage. He’s been the **** of the walk ever since Ramsey found him on a roadside last summer when he was still a young chick. more at the link
So he was showing his **** to all of his buddies...and none of them offered to get their hands on it and eat it up? Weird.
That's crazy! Gotta feel for the driver...it has to be such a helpless feeling. BUT...just walk out to the street and make the correct judgement call. If your shoes can't handle the ice, your one ton truck can't handle it either. We'll probably start seeing a ton of these types of vids showing up over the next week or so.
guy is a complete savage. ice skating shirtless is one thing, but to fall in and not have the wind knocked out of you and to be able to swim around for a minute and then pull himself out... well, its pretty baller.
