    First time I saw that was when I hiking Greenbelt in Austin and threw a rock at what looked like a cluster of pube hairs under an over hanging cliff. I proceeded to run for my life after that.

    Very beneficial, not poisonous, not even spiders. Very strange feeling to stick your hand into one of their bunches and let them crawl around on your arm.

    I got used to Daddy Long Legs as a kid in Houston. They don't bother me at all.

    That being said, I STILL couldn't stick my hand into a writhing mass of them.
