    In about 1996 I had about $35K left over from an inheritance I was trying to figure out what to do with. Having been a Apple/Mac guy forever, I'd been reading about the return of Steve Jobs to Apple, and this new iMac coming out that didn't have a disk drive.

    All my money was with Charles Schwab or maybe Oppenheimer at the time, and I let them talk me into not investing anything in Apple, given their struggles at the time, and take the 'long-term, safer routes' or various mutual funds, where I proceeded to lose damn near everything over the next 10-12 years. I was 19 at the time.

    They were technically right....what I wanted to do was risky, but believe me I kick myself every damn day about that still.

    True story. :(

    I think esteban may be one who, like Southern Select, confine their dickishness to other forums because they're actually banned from the D&D.
