COMPETITION? we never have been. We have been led by injury prone players. They whole league knows that. No one cares about Ariza being given to the Hornets because they are no more competition than we are. It's a lateral move. We are who we are...scrappy and play hard but lack a dominant player to take over games. Trading Ariza was no bold statement other than he can't get us there...or you neither....thank you for participating in this lateral movement..

I think we got better by jettising the malcontent.

Regarding our injuries, yep...too many, but because of them we are developing great young talent like Brooks, Lowry, Cbud etc....

If Yao is healthy, this is our year.

He would not be upset over Scola being a Rocket, he would be upset over not having him on the Spurs.

I agree the Ariza-Lee trade was a good one. But not because I hate Ariza. I just like Lee more.

    That's what she said.

Yeah, pretty much. I'm excited about Lee, I think he'll be a better defender than Ariza. He just won't have the size.

Look, I don't HATE Trevor, just don't like him much.

And I think Lee fills a position of need, whereas Trevor was in a logjam at the SF spot with better players pushing him out.

It was a good trade for Trevor in that he gets to play with an elite setup man in CP3, and it was a great trade for the Rockets as they get a true NBA backup SG, and a big trade exception.

It was a rare case of a win win trade, IMO.

No it isn't. We still lack a perimeter player that can take over a game when need be. And Yao will likely be injured again.

I see what you did there...

Yao will not finish the season healthy. He will be injured and retire early.
