Hasn't Terry had an offer on the table for a while now? Makes me think he wants something better and won't be back.

Bummer... He was one of my favorites last year.

"The Rockets have made an offer to guard Jason Terry. But given that it would be a minimum contract and with little playing time likely available, the Rockets consider it unlikely he will return, said a person with knowledge of the situation, speaking on the condition of anonymity because of the uncertainty of the situation."

That's too bad. Can't fault him for trying to get more than a 1-yr deal, this will almost certainly be his last contract. Still seems like some hope is alive though if he hasn't inked with anyone else.

there was a short video early last season of terry, harden, garcia, and i think ariza all sitting together in the plane. terry was twirling a grip of cash in his hands showing off for the camera the whole team. i was kind of suprised an old veteran needed to do that. maybe those murmurs here about him agreeing to go to a non-contender in a sign-&-trade deal to get him a much larger contract are actually possible.

That would be genius... Is that really in play?

Terry SNT with jones could bring back a good player

No we can't do that, we renounced our rights to Terry so we wouldn't have his 6 million dollar cap hold on our books.
