I plan on getting a terrabyte drive evntually to store as much as I can though. I read somewhere that you can just rip the movies w/o all the extras which would still take a good 15GB of space but it would be nice to have a digital library.
Why would you want to trade in MGS? MGS = the bees knees! Also, I recently found a way to stream movies and music from my laptop to my PS3 over my wireless network. AWESOME!
I have the 1st PS3 Tiger Woods (07 or 08 i forget), Talledaga+300 blu ray, NBA 2K8, Virtua Fighter, Unreal Tournament 3, or possibly a controller (sixaxis) if you are interested in trading MGS for anything on the list lemme know.
yeah definitely far off in the 2.5 size but I don't mind having a 3.5" 1TB external attached to my PS3. Right now I have a 200GB installed in my PS3 which gives me plenty of space but if I plan on making my library digital I'm definitely going to need that 1TB.
He's using WMP11 most likely. WMP11 allows you to share your media library on your PC over to the PS3. Once you set up windows media player your PS3 should be able to pick it up. Your PS3 will also pick up Azeurus if you use that for BitTorrents
Well, my nephew has been playing, not me and I noticed he had reached the final stage (Commander) but no points were shown in order to get to Prestige. I will let him know when I get home. Thanks. BTW, he does not check my messages. I have some friend requests too but I don't see where you accept them.
I went with the MGS bundle because Wal-Mart is close and I had some store credit. If I can get a decent value on trade for the game (I am gonna sit on it for a week and play Rainbow Six 2) it will be a decent deal. Thanks for the help!
to see friend request. on the friends tab go to MESSAGE box then go to received find the friends that sent you the message, open it and add them. it should have an "add to friends" link.
Oh another question. Any must have accessories? I am going to order another controller online so to fully enjoy FPS and the like games do I need a headset or something?
Download a program called "TVersity" and pick out what folders you want to share. Then turn on media sharing on your PS3. Go to the music or video tab and click on the button that says "search for media servers". Now you can listen to your shared music or watch your shared videos on your PS3. I watched a stream of Casino Royale the other day and it worked perfectly. You can basically do this same thing with Windows Media Player 11, but TVersity is better because it will transcode your files on the fly - this allows you to watch non-native formats on your PS3 (AVI files, divx, etc). I've been torrenting quite a few older movies that I've never because of this ability. I foresee myself eventually turning my PS3 into an entire media center chock full of MP3 playlists for parties and a selection of awesome movies.
yep, COD4 is awesome online. You should get a used copy for like $35 at gamestop i think. blu-ray discs are coated with some **** so they dont scratch so its aight to buy a used game.
i believe mgs4 is the retail version. keep it unopened and take it back to walmart and ask them to exchange it for a different game. they'll ask you for a receipt and just say it was a gift. as long as it's still shrink wrapped (new) they'll exchange it for you. edit: nevermind, on the box it says not for resale. you could trade games with someone here.
