The most "realistic" (if any Harden trade is) and best is Boston.
    BKN 2016 pick +BNK 2018 pick + Smart + Bradley + Boston 2016 + BKN pick swap 2017.

Oh f**k off. There's just not enough talent on this team around him. This is the modern NBA and we have 4 rotation players that can't hit a shot unless left wide open.

He needs a more skilled big to play with....alley oops are nice plays in the flow of a game..but you need to be able to do more. Once he has that, he can no longer hide behind the excuse of having the burden of doing it all offensively. He'll HAVE to step it up consistently, all around.

Who's a more realistic option than Vucevic?

He might be hard to get as it is..

According to another thread James is like the top 6 SG of ALL TIME... better than HOFers... better than guys that won multiple championships... and don't forget 'best player in the league' - according to him...

thats gotta be worth something great... isn't it?

oh, sorry, I thought I was in the sarcasm thread... lol

yeh, it's the talent around him... thats why he dribbles, dribbles and then dribbles some more before losing the ball... The guy he's passing to isnt talented enough - thats why his bounce passes between 2 defenders never make it there...

He can be one of the 3 stars we need.

In Jan- 33 ppg, 14 rebs, 49% from the field and 45% from 3 (on 4.4 attempts) and 2 steals.

    Very good defender as well

If you trade Harden, even say for the #1 Pick, then you are likely to let Howard walk. What would you be left with? Simmons, Bev, Brewer, Ariza, DMo, and Capela? Maybe Dekker & Harrell if they develop? Ha, that's a 10-win team - we've seen that Capela isn't a starting-caliber Center, at least not yet, and DMo apparently can't stay healthy. Brewer and Ariza are trending down, and Bev is only our starting PG due to his compatibility with Harden.

You're basically PRAYING that you're as good as the Hornets in 2-3 years, and they really aren't very good, because you're not going to have very many solid trade pieces outside of picks, I suppose. And everybody will have FA money, good luck building a team around Simmons.

I'd like to see this team with a HC that has a solid background, one that can truly motivate his players. While Harden is A problem he's not THE problem. The problem is JB and some pretty crappy role players that typically don't step up when Harden is having an off night. JB try this: PUT IN LAWSON WHEN HARDEN IS SH!TT!NG THE BED.

Best? That's making some wild assumptions as to who/what Ainge would include in a trade.

Again, I think the idea of trading Harden is preposterous but I'd throw LA in with Boston. They don't have a ton of assets, but they may have enough to tempt Morey if he were to hit the eject button, and they may be willing to move quite a few pieces if they believe KD to LA is a real possibility.
