If you "hunch" is that tracy will get shipped out, well Morey should just start wearing a cape everywhere he goes. Dumping a broken down Tracy and 40+ mill would be nothing short of amazing.

this seems like a teaser to get people to keep checking up his blog, but i could be wrong. he could always say in the end that the deal fell apart even if he's making it up now.

I just meant that it's not going to be Wade.

Yeah I agree. Usually when I'd call in to 97.5 and bring up Rafer he would just have a chuckle. And speak his mind, nothing really upbeat usually.

Well I know somethings goin on cause last year I suggested that if they do attempt to trade for anyone they put Battier in the deal and he kinda gave me one of those you know what's going on responses. Soon after it was revealed we were trying to get Artest but Sac wanted too much, being AB.

My guess and hope would be Caron Butler, great player, descent contract, major athleticism, and jump shot.

what will our defense look like with nash? shudder.... not that it's any good now i suppose..

i actually would be very excited to see nash hitting three pointers on this team. just to see open threes going in, that would be wonderful

PLEEASSEE stop saying Ron for Nash.

Have you watched the Suns this year? Steve Nash's skills have dramatically decreased.

For instance, AB locked him down in our game in Phoenix earlier this year, AB is a good player but doesnt even play lockdown D on ANYONE!

If we get Nash and a "filler"(most likely Amundon) for Ron and Rafer what are we looking at for a rotation.

NASH, AB (2 small gaurds that cant defend)
WAFER, BERRY (an unproven player and old man rivers)
BATTIER, AMUNDSON (Battier has no offence & Amundson is a spot shooter)
SCOLA, LANDRY, HAYES (only position with 2 consistant players)
YAO, DEKE (you will get more Yao, Scola though)

That is not a winning lineup kids! Nash is not the Steve Nash of old, so please stop the Nash talk.

the hawks REALLY need bibby and his shooting and PG play, so it's not him. hawks are playing well and don't want to change anything i'm sure

Lol, that's what I get for hitting send too quickly and for posting while at work :D

What I meant was that since King Solomon has proclaimed that the deal would "make almost all of you happy" and he's been known to bag on Alston - or at least have heard the mounting frustration with Rafer on his blog and elsewhere - that the PG position might be one that needs to be addressed. Just speculation on my part.

I think the one flaw in adding Artest to our team is that with him, Mac, and Sugar Shane, you really have 3 SFs trying to man the 2 and 3 position. None of them, Artest included, is athletic enough to handle the active two's like Kobe, Ray-Ray, or Rip who run around a lot and come off of picks. That being said, they did get more athletic at the 2 with the rise of Wafer. So if there is a deal to be made, where one of those three is to be included, I'd love to see them address the PG spot. Rafer + Mac/Artest/Battier can fetch you a pretty good player or package of players in return: http://bbs.clutchfans.com/showpost.php?p=4213511&postcount=1809

ab has blocked a few other much taller players. yao has been blocked by nate robinson. so?

artest will be gone. his value to us right now is mainly an expiring. compare rafer to nash, how can you say it's not a good move for us?

this post makes a lot of sense.. but i think i've just been deprived of a PG that can shoot open threes...

i always thought jason terry and his 3 point shooting (the way he shot against us anyway) would be sick if he was on our team.. that Chicken Little lookin freak

I'm hoping for Bibby. Tmac for Bibby and some fillers would be nice.

I'm quite sure that Clutch has some idea too, but it's good that nothing is being told. It will only matter if there is a deal, and we all know that nothing can be taken for granted in this business.

I understand that but I was just thinking about any point guards that aren't really being talked about. He said we won't be upset with the guy. I was thinking either Bibby or Baron Davis. Bibby most likely because he and Aldeman go way back. Bibby knows this offense like the back of his hands. Baron would be nice because he can drive to the basket. Sort of like the young Steve Francis we saw.
