congratulations..you're the freaking smartest poster in this thread. you win. i agree entirely. chemistry my butt. there's none. and artest isn't worth keeping around...get while you can.
If this trade doesn't involve Rafer, Shane, Hayes, Head, and/or Dorsey, I won't be happy. I'd rather keep T-Mac's expiring contract until next year when it'll be more valuable. Keep Artest.
If this rumor has some legs it's not Caron Butler: Uh, uh, Caron Butler would be a nice get. And he and Artest make about the same amount of money. Despite being in last place, Washington hasn't indicated an interest in trading him yet.
These are a list of facts I pulled from Solomon's blog about this rumor: -it doesn't involve McGrady -it doesn't involve Caron Butler -the talks were preliminary and it is unlikely to happen -he includes a reference to an article saying Nash is likely untouchable in the same blog
Caron might be tough to get but you never know. With Ron's expiring and GA fleecing the Wizards for $100M in the offseason, who knows, maybe they want some cap relief
Nash would not make me happy at all....do you all see what he is doing with a center and an offense that actually has to set up and be ran? HELL NO TO NASH
Updated: List of facts from Solomon's blog about this rumor: -it doesn't involve McGrady -it doesn't involve Caron Butler -the talks were preliminary and it is unlikely to happen -he includes a reference to an article saying Nash is likely untouchable in the same blog -it's going to promote the hell out of his blog on ClutchFans -"It can't be a straight-up deal, but as for coming this way, there is only one star-level player in the mix." (Solomon's own words) -asked why the deal is unlikely to happen, Solomon said, "It takes two to tango." (one party may not be interested)
Thanks for the updates. I feel a little out of the loop on who this Solomon guy is so you'll have to forgive me. Who is he and he has a blog on Clutchfans? He's writer for the Chronicle, right?
