    Yeah, I have heard so many bad things about ubid, I don't use it anymore. Only thing I ever bought on it was this monitor. My father bought a phone that didn't end up working, and he had to pay return as well. I had a friend buy a 19" Trinitron from uBid, and his was so awesome, I thought I'd get one. I almost bought a cheaper 21" - there were Dell-branded Trinitrons going for like $300, but I kept losing them, and finally I just took the plunge and bought the best monitor I could buy. It came in PERFECT condition -- I think perhaps mine was a return or something because I've had absolutely no problems with this one -- it's nicer than my first Trinitron (17") that was BRAND NEW.

    The other things is that they have the "expected Retail Price" or something like that -- that "price" is often almost double of what its REAL retail price is. VERY misleading.

    I have a PIII 1GHZ desktop - Dell (surfing, website, etc.)
    512 MB Ram
    80gb and 40gb drive
    CD ROM and CD Burner 8x
    64mb DDR video card Matrox GeForce something something
    ATI TV Card
    Sound Blaster Live 512 or something
    dual nics


    I also have an old Dell laptop that I "borrow" from work. PII 366 and 256mb ram. It has a 15" screen with a DVD player, but besides that its old.

    I wanna get a new PC soon...

    Some of the things on it are important files, utilites, etc. that I need when I'm mobile or at a remote location. The rest of it, um...uh....its empty spaaaaace...yea... that's the ticket. [​IMG]
