A-Train? That was you with the stench? At first I thought it was the NOLA after-wet smell, but now I can smell you're nuts. For a LooOooOooong time, I picked up my dad's Aramis every now and then, and I smelled like him, some chicks at school said: "Hey, I just met your dad... he smells like you... does he steal YOUR cologne?" I use CURVE now. A good friend of mine gave me a bottle in the case a while back and I still haven't opened it. I plan to use it as soon as I run out of this one. It's already been about 3 years since she gave it to me. Does anyone know what's the shelf life of the bottle unopened?
Kenneth Cole- Black Ralph Lauren- Silver Dolce and Gabbana- Only to the bar as it's pretty strong. Bellagio by Micaelangelo Bvlgari Dreamer by Versace My name is LonghornFan, and I'm a cologneaholic.
Lacoste Style in Play is the main one I wear. I think it's only been out for about a year or two. I like wearing it because it smells good and it's a unique thing to wear. I like Acqua di Gio, however, so many guys wear it that it's kinda lost a little bit. The first cologne I ever had was Tommy...haha.
Jean-Paul Gautier.... i get so many comments from girls all the time.... however my guy friends don't like it... wonder why
I almost got the Annick Goutal one you mentioned myself, except that it ended up being too strong for my terrible allergies A few others I forgot that are in the closet: Issey Miyake Hermes Eau D'Orange Verte (free at LeMeridien Hotels ) Sisley Eau de Campagne (my favorite)
It's an older cologne (came out a loooong time ago) that's obscure which is probably one reason why you can't find it in "regular" stores. You can get it online at a ton of yahoo store-type URL's. I've heard good things about it from at least one other person. I may buy some just for the hell of it.
soap (whatever brand the wife puts in the shower) Head and Shoulders (regular scent) water (austin's finest tap water) Sure deoderant (unscented)
That sounds like a good combination. Is there anyone else who would rather just shower often, use deodorant, and smell like a clean and normal person? (with some of the mild fragrances that come from normal cleansing products, like those mentioned above) That's my approach too... I got tired of being stuck on the shuttle bus at UT with girls who wore enough fragrance to school to choke a horse.
