I am the biggest Phonie #24 hater, but have to give him props. What he has is done is remarkable, there's no doubting he is one of the best scorers in the league but he is NOT the best player in the league.

I had to laugh out loud last night when I saw Kobe's interview where he said it was humbling to be in the same list as Wilt, Baylor, MJ for scoring 50 3 straight times. Humbling and Kobe, that's like water and oil, or Bush and saddam being best friends, they just don't mix!

A serious question for Lakers fans:

I missed their last 3 games. As Kobe said in the interview, is the real difference the fact both Walton and Odom are playing? My theory is Walton's absence hurt the Lakers more than people realize. Would Kobe's efforts these 3 games have been much more difficult without Walton?

I'm looking forward to the chase for #6 between the Lakers and Nuggets. It should be a dogfight. Hopefully I can watch the remaining 2 head to head matchups.

Yes for sure. Lamar and Luke's passing and spacing make it much harder to double KB or deny the ball. Just check the total assist numbers, there were almost three triple double (Lamar, Luke and Smush) for the whole team.
