And from what I hear, they offset that with a slew of transmission issues. I know for a fact my friend who bought a brand new WRX back in about 2004 had major issues. In fact, he was out of that car within a year or two. I don't think so
Yeah, i have been reading through it. I forgot to mention that i am looking for a car with good gas mileage and that is more important that the speed, i just want a car that looks sporty.
The Lancer is rated at 24 city / 29 highway. But from my own experience it is about 22 city / 31 highway. I average at about 27 mpg since i drive alot on the freeway. The Lancer does not have good acceleration because of its CVT. But once you get to 60 mph it drives really really smooth.
My bad. Was looking some up on Craigslist couple of years back, when it said turbo, it probably meant twin or just have been modded. Either way, I stand by it being a good buy. Spoke to some people that own the non-turbo and they have found it fairly reliable.
You are a wise man my friend you cant go wrong with the corolla. The new body style looks good. or the Honda Civic either one you can't lose.
dude nice rims, what size are those? I need to hook up my 2007 gas guzzler. LOL i got to SATX on a half tank..
If you are willing to go up a couple of grand, Civic Si is a good choice. 2.0L 197hp (wow), 29 mpg hwy. Never owned one but that engine looks like a result of amazing engineering.
I'm going to be getting the 2010 Nissan 370z Coupe when it comes out... originally it was the G37... but that got too expensive.
That 197hp is bhp, I think. And squeezing 100hp per liter is nothing new, at least since 2000, and a few cars in the 90s had that as well, but those were bmw m's so high $$$.
