...dont trade Cuttino Mobley. Cat is instrumental for our success. Get Tmac, Antonio, Barry, whoever, just dont get rid of Cuttino.

He is one of the best man on man defenders in the league, one of the best 3 point shooters in the league and last year he finally matured as a player.

He deferred to Yao, stopped shooting stupid jumpers and stopped playing, for the most part, ISO basketball.

Cat is also cheap in regards to his production and I do not think the Rockets would benefit at all from getting rid of this guy.

    Keep Cat!

Great, thanks for the insightful input

This thread is about Cuttino, who in my opinion is the perfect fit along side Yao.

    I agree --- keep Mobley

There were lots of games where he kept us in the game. He will be even more important if we get a true point guard and a power forward. We will need him as a legitimate scoring option

cat still takes terrible shots, still plays for himself, and plays lackluster D on everyone not named Kobe Bryant.

I wouldn't mind seeing what we could get for him.

Plays lackluster D? He's one of the 3 best defensive shooting guards in basketball.

I don't know if he's top 3, but "lackluster" is not the way to describe it; he's easily the best perimter defender on the rockets, that's for sure.

    and
    2) you did not watch one single godamn rockets game last year

you people are freaking ridiculous. Cuttino plays EXCELLENT team basketball. He has matured and its about godamn time all you silly Yao only cuttino hating non rocket watching idiots do too.

I'm with those that call for keeping Cat as a Rocket...When Steve walked in as the Franchise, Mobley stepped aside and let Steve be the leader not worrying about it because I don't think Cat knows how good he can be. Some of his dazzling drives to the basket that end up with a smooth finger roll make me wonder why he doesn't do more of that! I actually thought he should've done more of that in the Lakers series. I personally love Cat's selfless play and egoless attitude and would like to see him as a Rocket for many years to come.

    yingyang is yetti, dude.

yao only fans have to be the biggest drawback to having yao on this team. if yao shot 0 for 45 in a game, they would find a way to blame it on steve and cat being selfish. yaos a good player, but lay off his jock. he would probably be embarassed by yofs. you guys are repulsive.
