    have you even been watching the rockets since RA first took over? Have you seen the defensive rankings of his previous teams? He is a fine defensive coach. A GOOD defensive center and an upgrade at the 3 are what the rockets needed. And I honestly don't think playing a team over the course of a series would affect the rockets offense, simply because its more of a free flowing movement based system rather then running the same thing over and over

    D is also about not having a 6'6 center and scola guarding the paint. Won't get far no matter who the coach is with that. Its funny that the rockets defense pretty much evaporated with the loas of Yao and deke. Wonder why?

    I'm going to take Carril's word when he says that it's basically the same offense that the Celtics and Knicks ran in the 50s and 60s. Both of us speculating means nothing compared to what he has said.

    nope.

    i am sorry. i am not a fan of his style. i am an old school, like starting with defense (team defense) then bringing up a creative offense. i like sloan's style, strong defense and lethal p&r with alot backdoor cuts.
