My husband had flowers and chocolates sent to my office. He says he got me dinner - probably nothing fancy, and that's fine - but I don't know because I am still at work. Just happened to fall on a Tuesday this year, which happened to be my long day this semester.
Don't get to see her today unfortunately, so I sent flowers and chocolates, and I'm going to get out my guitar and sing her a song over Skype.
Same with me. I get done at seven, but my wife kept texting me during o chem. School sucks sometimes.
Sent flowers to her classroom, but they didn't get there until after the kids left. I remember I had them sent the day before one year and it actually worked out better. For some reason I forgot that trick this year. Our anniversary is the 16th, so we go pretty low key on V-day (thank GOD).
Lol. It was PACKED in there last night. Hot show, and by the time I shut it down the show was over 2 hours long and we didn't lose anyone. Valentine's Day is alive and well, I hope everyone had a good one.
The plan was that I would cook dinner for her at my place, which I did, and it was awesome. The surprise is that I went full cliche with a dozen roses, a heart-shaped box of heart-shaped chocolates, and a simple card that I made sappy via my superior writing skills. She loved all of it, and then I hit it like she owed me money. She loved that, too. +1 to me.
