I've been delving into my Go-Betweens lately. I've been listening to the Before Hollywood and Snap Sessions albums.

Just discovered the awesomeness that is NPR's All Songs Considered live shows. Downloaded shows by The Black Keys, Broken Social Scene and Mogwai last night. Listed to Peter Bjorn and John on the flight out here to Phoenix.

About to throw on some Muse. Never really checked them out, but wanted to after everyone I talked to who went to ACL this year said they put on the best show. My 16 year-old niece of all people had three CDs on her iPod which I just put on mine.

I saw Ridley Scott's Final Cut of the best SF flick ever made at the Paramount on Congress last week. Blade Runner on the big screen, remastered in the version that was ruined by the studio 25 years ago, and it was AWESOME.

I'm listening to the soundtrack. Of course, I listen to it all the time, but now it's cooler, having seen the flick on the big screen THE WAY GOD INTENDED. (or somebody... I'm agnostic... where's Nomar?)

Those guys are great. Gaza Strippers are okay too, what I've heard at least. You like the Supersuckers?

I've been listening to the Cheap Trick box set and a bunch of David Bowie - Hunky Dory, Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs.
