Yes, I love techno although I am not familiar with any of those names....are they local or known just to the Houston area?

Sigur Ros () - just came out
Pavement (Slanted and Enchanted: Luxe and Reduxe)
    Streets (Original Pirate Material)

and lastly Audioslave! I've only downloaded a few songs, but from what I heard, it kicks ass! For those who don't know, the band is made up of Rage Against the Machine, but with Chris Cornell of Soundgarden as the singer. If you liked Soundgarden and Rage, you will probably like this. Chris Cornell sings like he's still in Soundgarden and Tom Morello and the other guys play like they're still in Rage. It's a pretty unusual, and original mesh of two different styles. I don't think anyone out there right now creates better guitar riffs than Tom Morello.

They are actually very big European trance DJs. The big-name American DJs that I listen to are some like DJ Micro, George Acosta, DJ Dan, Charles Feelgood. What DJs do you listen to?

    Rockets10,

I'm not big on trance or individual DJs although I do have "Tranceport" by Oakenfold and "Out There and Back" by Van Dyk plus a CD by BT and one by Robert Miles (which many people don't consider him a true trance guy anyway!).

I'm more of a fan of artists like Aphex Twin, Orbital, The Orb, Kraftwerk, Underworld, Utah Saints, Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, etc.

But I probably should try to get more into the individual DJs.
