I tend to agree. I've never quite understood the chick-fil-a craze. It's ok, but I would agree it is pretty mediocre. back to whataburger, the chicken strip sandwich with barbecue sauce is pretty sinful.
I actually visited a chik-fil-a based on the "hype" alone... people made it seem like I'd been missing out my entire life... Upon trying their food, including their "famous" chik-fil-a dip... I was shocked.... by how disappointingly mediocre it all was...
Another pro in the Whataburger column is that they have the best soda mix. The fact that their coke mix is just better than everyone else often is the deciding factor for where I drive through.

Seems like Whataburger is doing a lot of autograph sessions lately, which is cool. Too bad not in DC. Last time I went was in Las Vegas about 15 years ago. And I was too drunk to know what I ordered. I could have eaten a cow at 3am. But it was good.
