    You fell into my trap!

No, seriously, I'm like the anti-tinman. Whereas tinman uses every McGrady thread to reflexively bash our old superstar, I use every opportunity to reflect on how he was mistreated. I'm talking about how the team was so desperate to contend, they didn't want to believe him when he said his knee wasn't right, treating him like an asset instead of a person. And then tried to pull a fast one by trading him when they grew to realize that his knee really was busted. The trade would never have gone through anyway. McGrady wouldn't have passed the physical for the trade -- even if he passed the tests, they'd rescind the trade after McGrady told them he thought surgery was necessary. It may have been courteous for McGrady to inform the team first, but after getting shat on all season by the front office, I don't blame him too much. They should have listened and been more proactive about protecting his health when he told them there was a problem instead of calling him a whiny b**** who should man up and play anyway -- a course of action McGrady took to please the team that didn't work at all.

Itd be like steve francis coming back. A decent symbolic welcome, but probably no substance. I wouldnt care, but I know it wont work out on rockets fast paced team

I think it might be some "boy who cried wolf" with T-Mac, too. He maybe mouthed off 1 time too many before that. And when he really needed the understanding, he already turned off too many people.

I wouldnt be surprised if it was like what you said. Sometimes the Morey types can get the "smartest man in room" syndrome and dont like to be shown up by perceived "illogical" reasonings (though that doesnt explain the von wafer, ron artest, terrence williams additions) and really they shouldnt have played Yao too many minutes either but oh well on all that now

I'd be excited if T-Mac returned to the Rockets. But, unfortunately, T-Mac is dead and he's just McGrady now.

He's no longer a cancer. Just a jellowy puss ball that smells a bit like nutsack. He's still a great passer with court vision and can shoot. Wouldn't mind him back to redeem himself. Tbh I'd rather have Luis, Mandry, and Chuckster back

Same as when we signed Stevie Franchise again. No emotion at all. It'd be cool if he contributed, but I wouldn't expect him to.

We can sign him as our Mascot or water boy... :D Kidding aside, yeah, he's welcome. I'll be ecstatic even if he's just playing during garbage time. That said, he's very much welcome if and only if there's still a spot in that 15-man lineup. He'll essentially be the 15th man off the bench but would be happy to see him once again as a Rocket even on the bench.

The more i think about it, it would be fitting for Tracy to end his career here. His time here was the best in his career.

Sign Tracy and trade parsons for Patrick Patterson. Then make a sticky thread for tinman and Carl Herrera to express themselves.

If we signed him, we'd have a true, Uncle Drew on the Rox, except it'd be the first 3 shots Uncle Drew, and not the ballin Uncle Drew.

He turned me off for good in 09-10 (I think? ) when he picked the Lakers to win it all while still a Rocket. Then we take the Lakers to 7 games in the semifinals after losing Deke in round 1 against Portland and Yao after game 3 of the Laker series.

    Ass.
