Would the idea be that Flagg would replace Jabari? or Sengun?
At 6'9 I think those are his positions .. . unless you trying to run him at SF
There is no guarantee he would be better than either of them

Jabari would move to SF where he plays very well.

Flagg is more of a wing than a power forward.
    Jumbo SG/SF
But can defend 1-4 maybe 5

Flagg plays best as an oversized 3 in my opinion. I think you'd make a consolidation trade sending out one of our forwards to make room for him in the rotation. He'd probably come off the bench to start his career, but I doubt that would last very long. Similar trajectory to Amen's.

You'd have 3 golden years of Flagg on a rookie deal, It would probably be Sengun-Thompson-Flagg-Green for his first few seasons, everybody else would be expendable and/or too expensive to keep

If the Rockets couldn’t have him, I’d be ok with the Nets getting him. It would be way preferable to Dallas or San Antonio which I strongly believe will end up with him, due to NBA corruption. Obviously, it would be better if he went to the East, preferably Washington or Charlotte, but he would probably stay in school if they are the top 2 picks.

That sucks for the kid. Exactly why he shouldn’t go back for sophomore year

I think Flagg to the Jazz is already written in stone.

Pure and simple. They would be a playoff team in the east had we not sent that pick back to them. It allowed them to blow up their team, which they continue have done throughout the season in order to tank. We got a better package with the suns picks and swaps. If they get cooper, more power to them.

Sunk cost fallacy would be holding Bridges though and I don't think you can completely rule it out. I'd say it's like 60/40 they probably still make the deal with the Knicks if we call their bluff. Also, did Stone know how much the Knicks were overpaying in the trade or was it a situation where the Nets said, "we've got a deal lined up for Bridges but we're not doing it if we don't get our picks back"?

What's also fairly likely is that the Nets make other different decisions in-season to try and win the play-in limpathon if they don't have their pick.

To be fair, New York is a good market and starting point for a Coop Flagg.

    New York's little brother.

I feel the same way. Stone had a position of strength and didn't have to deal with them at all and the nets HAD to have their picks back. He definitely didn't maximize that situation.

I'd be ok if the Jazz get him... basically anyone but the Spurs would be ok for the most part... if he goes to spurs we might be in trouble lol
