Wow thats impressive, can i ask how old you are? i have a friend that has gotten 300 up once, i am trying to reach that goal hope i can get it by the end of my senior year in HS, doubt i will get it but i am going to try to reach it.
I'm not really flat out amazing at one thing, but I guess I'm ok at some things. I could probably beat everyone at DBZ trivia. I seem to know more about that show than most people I know, and I always have to correct them when they say something wrong. (No, dude. Gohan was the 1st to be SSJ2. Goku was just a very good SSJ. Gaw!) Now, whether or not that's a good thing is another story. I usually am pretty good at basketball and football video games. I don't think I've ever lost on the next generation Maddens, though most of the people I played against didn't have much knowledge of football and pretty much passed the whole game, helping me pick out good defenses. Then again, I guess I was pretty good since I always picked the Cowboys. On the new basketball games, I only lost once on NBA Live 2002. That really got me mad because my opponent must have found a bug or something because he found out how to basically hit 3's without missing. I barely lost despite his luck. I also woop up on the computer with realistic settings and all-star difficulty on NBA2K3. I'm sure others can too, but it makes me feel good. Compared to my friends, I'm a pretty good writer. But I don't think I'm anywhere near the top on here. I'm sure there are plenty of people with better writing skills. Uh...that's probably it...unless there are 10 people with these same skills. Then I'll have to figure out some more....better start thinking.
Horse or around the world. I'm not that good a basketball player, but I can shoot. 15-25 three pointers and 50-60 free throws in a row. I can shoot around for about 15-30 minutes without missing. Too bad I can't do much else on the court. Pool. Not that great but I'd say I'm above average. I've hit the eight ball in on a break back to back, but that was about 4 years ago and haven't done it since. If I play for 3-4 hours, I'll run the table a couple of times.
This is like junior high, all you kids stand around waiting for a fight. I live in Austin Another Brother. Otherwise I'd have to email you a time and place. It'd be fun.
Not bad. I've only hit the 8 ball in once off the break. I would call that mostly luck though. You sound like Boki in basketball though. Learn to play some defense you damn European. Get out there and contribute.
Horse and around the world, same as mummywrap. Except I do have a little skill when it comes time for a real game. During games I'm a streaky shooter, but when I get hot I don't miss. I'm the guy that puts up weird ass crazy shots that go in and the other team starts cursing themselves. That's what makes me good at horse...as long as the other guy can't dunk. My personal favorite horse shot is lobbing the ball from the free throw line out towards half-court, then go catch the ball and hit a turnaround jumper.
-Ping Pong I have become obsessed and play about three times a week now. (From the comfort of New Zealand..lol..I say) Bring it on! -Trivial Pursuit History, politics, literature, entertainment, sports...not terribly knowledgeable about science, though. -Making fun of television Mystery Science Theater 3000 Style. Special points for obscure references. -Making mixtapes/cd compilations I bring the old, I bring the new, the funk and the cool. I can make them with a theme, have the songs comment on one another and still make you want to dance and ****.
Tennis. Soccer Trivia. ESPN Fantasy Basketball. Sex (I can finish first ). Just kidding about that last one.
Spelling - I guarantee a top 7 finish in a Spelling contest(In a spelling bee format, not BBS format). Golf - I don't know the quality of the other golfers on the board(I know Dadakota is a golfer), but I think I could get at least a top 7 finish in that as well. Especially since the average golfer doesn't break 90. Tennis - See golf Air Hockey - I only play it like once a month, but have an uncanny talent for it.
this should go without saying. I can write faster about basketball on more levels than anyone at cc.net--one hand tied behind my back, even. hehe seriously cards. specifically bridge, poker, and gin--hence, my moniker. Anyone out there living in Houston who is *very* serious about bridge and is willing to go play duplicate tournaments, email me. I'm looking for a partner willing to play Italian Blue Club. I'm serious!!! Note: it generally takes 2 months of team practice before you can play it at the studio without screwing up. Diplomacy: the best game of all strategy games frisbee golf...I hold the Rice course record by 3 strokes. I've never met anyone who could throw a forehand farther than me...but my backhand distance can't hang with the big boys, so I'm at a disadvantage on wide open fields but have the advantage in low canopy courses with trees. Other sports: I'd have to enter the Senior Circuit to win anything. Regarding tennis: I still might have the best serve on this BBS, and could possibly win a doubles tourny.
