What would you think if roles switch and Harden got injured?

Well Yao's leg was fallen on after KG had called him the MVP, and I'm pretty sure that was our year if we would have been healthy. The "Second Clippers game", or the game after the a.k.a. "no one can bleeping stop me" game. IT wasn't in the playoffs

... but we later had it happen to us in the playoffs, and it was from a late season someone stepping on Yao's bad foot. Another bad luck injury in the game 1 steal in LA, and the rest goes the story after the hairline fracture forced him out of game 3, and the remainder of that playoffs, which only went to game 7 against the champs, so the what ifs were everywhere for us! We've seen it all here I guess what I'm saying so it's just sad to see a player get injured playing the sport they love, and competing at the highest level.

I feel bad for them, but I think that that play was one of many that TORE the meniscus in his knee. Like the final straw. I don't think PB did it all on his own, and like someone said WB forced his leg that way, as well.

I think never missing a game, and the way he stops on a dime made his knees more susceptible to injury, just like Yao, and his body frame.

We've had it happen to us, so ya we'd be devastated. The thing is it didn't, and that play wasn't dirty. PB would have been hurt if it was a bang bang knee bump play, but WB got the brunt of it. He played through it, and did that help it? NO WAY! I feel bad, and don't wish the injury on anyone, but that was bad luck, and Houston has seen the injury train all too much during the Yao, and whats his name :) (T-mac) years.

I would be pissed that Harden is out but I would understand that's basketball and injury's happen.

It's like the Perkins play I don't blame him for holding Parsons, I blame the ref who was standing there acting like he was looking right at him. There's a saying in basketball that if your not cheating your not trying and I think it's ok to play the game that way.

Perkins is a punk though and plays dirty, I don't think it's ok to play that way.

To me it doesn't even matter. Outrage lasts for what, maybe a day or a week at most? And in the end nothing changes. So I could care less what OKC fans think of Beverley, or what I would think of Reggie Jackson if he ended Harden's season.

If anything, I would care a lot less because we'd be down 0-2 in a series that we never had a chance in the first place. This injury likely cost OKC finals appearance.

I don't know about the majority, but I'd be reasonable. If it was a dirty play, I'd say it. What Beverley did was not dirty. "Reckless" could be argued, but being reckless isn't always a bad thing.

The Thunder were championship contenders. If we were a solid lock for the WCFs for the whole season, emotions would play differently right now even if the situation was the same. We'd be pouring all over for other subtle clues to confirm how that OKC players played dirty before Harden.

There's been too many years of ****ty injuries with the Rockets not to make me feel some bit of pity for them despite the lack of sportmanship in how they compete.

Pissed? Yes, but I wouldn't take it out on the player or their team. There was no intent; it was a freak accident.

CF on the other hand would probably flip out and there would be a ton of morons calling for the guys head.
