If $$$ did not matter, I would spend all my time in college studying the anatomy and nocturnal activities of female college students.
I studied History, money and job prospects be damned. It worked out fine, except that my career since then has nothing to do with History, which I don't regret either. The point of my college education was to get a college education, not prepare for a career. That's what my MBA is for.
Having never attended a college, I always thought a history major would be ideal. But now that I'm getting back into music, jazz specifically, a music degree from NTU (back yard) would be GRAND. Probably minor in graphic designs.
That's what I did. It takes a number of years, but with a graduate degree, you can turn that into a high paying career in consulting or finance, if money is your worry.
