I give up Swift (or Howard...puhleez) and the 8th pick and trade exceptions as necessary.

Is that enough to get it done?.

Is this a joke?? Come on, Marion is an All-Star. You're talking about "Mr. Potential who hasn't amounted to anything" plus an old washed-out fogie in Howard (whom I'll at least still credit to him that he can score sometimes), and a pick in a weak draft plus some money. Ok, so you're throwing in a lot of "junk," and I mean 'JUNK' except for the money.

No way do they go for this, and no way do they give up this All-Star for anything short of an All-Star in return who would actually fill holes for them.

All of that said, I would LOVE to have Marion on our team.

If they don't take that, they're flat out idiots. Marion isn't close to T-mac's level.

Plus free lawn service for the Suns execs. Never underestimate the power of free lawn service.

I would only take a deal for Marion if we could trade the coaches in the deal. Without a coaching change, Marion, Diaw, or any of the players mentioned would have their freedoms shackled under Van Dummy

Its too bad that we don't have something a little more to offer them. Swift would be an excellent fit in Phx.

But the fact that we have nothing besides the 2 all stars is the reason that we are discussing this in the first place...

    Interesting.
I definitely wont do it if Tmac is healthy. Nash and a healthy Tmac paried with healthy Amare, it's going to be insane for the suns. Tmac is a rare talent that doesnt come often. Actually Tmac came close to the Suns had they willing to give up Joe Johnson. In retrospect, I dont understand why they wouldnt throw in JJ.

On the other hand, if Tmac is not healthy. We would be wise to trade broke back moutain for the matrix.

The fact is no way we get him without throwing in Tmac but why dont yall want to look at a more affordable matrix in corey maggette?

marion would be nice but isnt either carney or brewer in a similar vein? mind you, several years away (hopefully not) but i think what they bring (athleticism, defense at several positions, garbage scoring) are similar
