    Here's a more serious question. Well, not that serious, but you know what I mean. It's a pseudo-philosophical question:

    What if the Rockets were GUARANTEED to win the Championship, and you didn't have to do any of these vile things. With one catch . . . .

    . . . You weren't allowed to watch the games, listen to the radio, vist this BBS, etc--even read re-caps--for ANY of the games, for the entire season---pre-season through the championship parade. A complete banishment of all things Rockest, but, in your heart, you would know they would win the champtionship.

    On the one had, your absolute love for the Rockets should transcend your enjoyment, and you would be secure in the knowledge that your beloved team is out there on the way to championship glory. On the other, you would not be permitted to enjoy it.

    Would you do it?

    I'd sell everything I had *and then some* and buy season ticketsm, tickets to every road game, and tickets to every playoff game *home and away* and watch every single game live. :D.

    . . . Seroiusly, I'm curious, because I've gone back and forth on the issue myself. If the Rockets were guaranteed to win a chapionship, provided you had absolutely no ability to watch, listen, read, or whatever--for the full year--would you do it?
