Interested to see what move the Rockets could make surrounding the #2 pick that would surprise you most as a fan. Personally I don't know If I would be more shocked or disappointed if the Rockets passed on Green at #2.
If Cunningham fell to number two. Maybe I'm just not taking the reports/rumors of Detriot liking Jalen Green more too seriously yet. But I guess they could be true. That would be awesome if the Rockets were able to draft Cunningham without having to give up assets to move up. Drafting Suggs at number two would be more disappointing than shocking.
Initially said a trade back but then thought about Detroit passing on Cade and the Rockets trading down with OKC for a treasure trove of picks including the ones from the Westbrook trade. Barnes or Kuminga and the Rockets' future back in their hands would be nice.
but if we trade with Toronto they might just take Suggs at 2 . Sure Cleveland would take one of Mobley or green and we’d end up with them at 4 . Ideally we could get to 3 and pick up an asset . we’d be assured of Mobley or Suggs or green . my thoughts on draft are that I’m cool with most outcomes . I don’t want to pay a kings ransom to DET , but I’d give them their pick back for #1 . **** , then we could send 1 to Cleveland for all I care and pick up 3 and extra firsts lol. if we get cute and move out of the top 4 we better get some good **** tho .
Trading back would be pure idiocy. What would you accomplish by doing that? That would be the most shocking for sure. People would need to be fired.
