I'd be satisfied with just 2 Rocket Power Dancers.

I find it strange that fans are satisfied without rings. If you don't care about rings, join the Warriors. they're fun to watch, if that's what's important to you.

It's what I keep harping on. Lowered expectations. This is the worst stretch this franchise has had in 30 years. We've suffered through 6 straight disappointing seasons. The last 4 years have seen the Rockets end up in the lottery, culminating in this offseason where they don't even have a first-rounder to fall back on. Management's track record regarding the draft and free agency has been spotty at best. The younger players have shown little or no growth offensively or defensively(Boki can't even get off the bench!). This team isn't even fun to watch which likely has a lot to do with the thousands of empty seats at Compaq Center even during the middle of a playoff race. And to add insult to all of this injury, our Texas rivals the Mavericks and Spurs tied for the best record in the loaded West and are now battling each other in the Conference Finals.

Yet despite all of these FACTS(not opinions, since every single one of them is TRUE!!!), there are still many fans who are willing to give Rudy T, his staff, CD, and the players every benefit of the doubt. They keep pointing to past achievements and the so-called youth of this group as reasons for optimism.

Well, me personally, I don't live in the past or in a possible future which is looking more and more like a longshot with each passing season. I live in the now. And right now, this organization stinks. Being handed Yao Ming in last year's draft is the biggest blessing they could ever hope for. But they're not gonna get that lucky again. They better start acting like they know what the hell they're doing and that they have some sort of longterm plan for this team. And if they can't(which has become painfully obvious at this point), then it's incumbent upon Les to bring in people who can and will do so.
