What would the Orlando Magic's record have been in 2003-04 without T-Mac? It was 21-61 with him, and a last-place finish in the Atlantic Division. Here's a link to the youtube video concerning the T-Mac trade to the Rockets. The main part (at the 3:45 mark) I feel you should watch is John Weisbrod's comments concerning trading T-Mac. They've stuck with my mind since first seeing this video last November.

You might want to think about the part where he says "I'm pretty certain that we could have come in last place without him, so if you're going to be a superstar player, you need to make a difference in areas like that." Areas he was referring to were leadership, making other players better, real competitive nature, winning being important.

Don't you understand my question? We were 4-2 without both t-Mac and Artest. Why we can't be 10-5 without both T-Mac and Shane? Shane>Ron?

Just let it go. All the saga is a thing in the past. Rockets have moved on, and they are doing fine. Don't keep the ill feelings.

It would be nice someone from the organization go to see TMac when the team is in Chicago, and a few of the players at least make calls to comfort Tmac if they are busy preparing for their game.

Actually, why we have this thread, no crying for real man.
