Sometimes you can find a HOF in the late rounds of a draft....
    1. Tom Brady. 10th Round of 10
    2. Roger Staubach. 9th Round of 10
    3. Bart Starr. 8th Round of 10
    4. Joe Theisman. 7th Round of 10
    5. Mark Rypien. 6th Round of 10
    6. Matt Hasselbeck. 5th Round of 10
    7. Brad Johnson. 4th Round of 10
    8. Rich Gannon. 3rd Round of 10

LEVIS looks like he could be our guy. Dude certainly looks the part and has an absolute cannon.

    I prefer accuracy...

One of the best QB's ever didn't have a cannon, but he was very accurate.... Joe Montana...

He has also been running a pro style offense that should make his entry into the NFL somewhat easier.

Exactly! Fields is a potential superstar QB.

It would involve the QB making his own reads. Complex formations. No half field reading or looking to the sidelines. Multiple progressions. Adjusting the blocking assignments. Proper audibles. Balance in play calling. There are some blended ideologies that can be used with mobile QBs in the RPO game. Basically a QB who can read the defense and make the necessary adjustment pre snap to execute a positive play. At least in my own words, maybe some other guys can add on to this thought.

....uhm, you do know only 3 of those guys are in the HoF (well, technically, two as Brady has yet to be inducted) and the rest were fairly mediocre?

Also, Staubach was a technicality - the Cowboys drafted him while he was still a junior and ineligible to play in the NFL, which was allowed then because teams could hold players' rights for a year. Had he been drafted the year he was eligible, he undoubtedly would've been a very high pick.

(And Starr was taken in the 17th round.)

See back in the day a Pro Style QB was one that was a pocket passer... A QB that didn't use his legs... So QB's such as Hurts, Mahomes, Jackson, etc.. Would not be considered Pro Style QB's...

I think the game has changed so much that the definition for Pro Style QB also has to change... Just my opinion..

Now here is the crazy thing for me with all that you stated above.... Dak Prescott has been getting killed in talks around town and talk shows for doing exactly what you stated above...

I never stated they were all HOF's... The rest were very qualified QB's in the era of when they played... The fact is, you can find a nice QB in the late rounds... The same with RB's..

I have seen a lot of so called sure picks be a bust
    • JaMarcus Russell
    • Tim Couch
    • Akili Smith
    • Ryan Leaf
    • Heat Shuler

I wouldn’t give him that much of a boost for being in a pro style offense when he was terrible in it.

I have absolutely nothing to back this up except the eye test, but in my opinion had Levis played at OSU he would be the surefire #1. Had Stroud played at Kentucky he would be a 3rd rounder. His numbers under pressure are abysmal. Yeah he did great against Georgia when he had over a month to prepare.

I would also add that if Levis was 22 years old he would probably be #1 pick.

Absolute madness. Never realized people could fall in love with physical traits this hard. No matter what, the Jake Locker and Jamarcus Russell type QBs will continue to get the benefit of the doubt when they haven't shown that they can play QB at a high lvl and then people are shocked when they can't be coached up at the next lvl. Josh Allen has forever warped people's sense of realism.
