This whole thing with amfootball needs to cool off. #1 - She was honest and is aware of who she is. While she may not be some people's cup of tea, at least she let's you know. Most women don't. #2 - This entire site is about being able to unload personal things about you. If someone can talk about peeing on a toilet so it becomes "his" property, then surely she can unload her personal tastes to us. BTW, no woman gets everything they are looking for. When they're ready to compromise is when they're ready to get married. And this is coming from, quite possibly, the biggest high-maintenence dude on this board.
I'm sure. Not too many of us, and some of us don't count. (meaning... not hot enough or whatever the heck it is you want, and also that we have a rule against dating anyone we met on the Internet)

Thanks, Fatty. At least someone gets it! Don't you all know that wanting and getting are two completely different things? I'm sure there are little things that all of you want that you're never going to get. I'm young, I can want all I want. I'm not looking to settle down right now. It's hard to find a guy in my age range who doesn't want to hang out at the bar with his buddies and belch all day. I tend to date men 5 to 15 years older than me...and you know what, I've met a couple of guys who come close to meeting almost everything on my wishlist (most of them were British -- with good teeth.) BTW, I thought moe's response was pretty funny, too. But it also explains why finding a decent man is tough.
I agree there is a difference and we all change our criteria as we age...I'm assuming you're still single and casually date and not in the serious stage of your life yet, great..To each his/her own...I am probably 5 - 10 years older but like most guys my age, IMO, we are getting to that serious stage...Don't get me wrong, we still like One Night Stands every once in a while, but some of us want more...Thus no one will ever meet every single criteria you have now, but that will change overtime... Nice post, Fatty... you don't see me layin'' that on you too often. If am wasn't a woman, you'd all be laughing, like you are with Moe's post. It's a form of sexism. Guys, you have no idea how sexist you are a lot of the time. You grow up with this stuff pounded into you from an early age. I live with a feminist, and have for most of three decades, and watched her fight the glass ceiling throughout her career to reach the high level she's at now. She still faces it everyday. I'm one of those hippies who tuned into this in the '60's, long before I met her, and I did what I could to help. I was almost fired a couple of times for complaining about getting larger raises in salary than women in the company who'd been there for years, and were more qualified. Management, after picking their jaw up from the floor, told me straight out to keep my mouth shut about it, consider myself lucky, and to be careful if I wanted to keep my job. We all have a tendency, one we need to fight against every day, to react negatively to strong women, women who hold strong opinions, women who don't like to be pushed around, women who want to feel in control of their bodies, for sex, or any other reason... hell, women in general. You think they like being "put on a pedestal?" Most thinking women find that offensive. They love being treated with respect and love, if they want the love, but most of all they want to be treated as equals. Disagree with them, fine, but don't be condescending about it. In my opinion. Oh, and I had the Wonder Dog when I met my future wife. She turned out to be allergic to cats. If she'd been allergic to the Wonder Dog, we wouldn't have had a future, unless she got allergy shots. (the WD was a labradoodle before they were called labradoodles... they're hypoallergenic, but I had no clue back then. It was fate. )
