So his half brother lives in squalor? I suppose you visited him on your last trip to Kenya. Oh i forgot he lives in Kenya so he must be living in squalor. I mean it is in Africa after all and everyone there lives in squalor.... or in trees.

The pix of him don't have him living in a palace, that's for sure. Now, quit the childish sarcasm and answer an honest question. I don't know, but I would like to know. Obama is a millionaire now, so I would like to know whether he is helping out a half-brother.

There was a whole thread about it (probably more) but I bumped it just for you!

I hope he's at least met the guy, but giving him money? Only if his brother asked him for it.

You do realize it is insulting to offer money to people who don't feel they need it, right?

Secret Agent 7's pix sure looks like Obama should check on him, maybe offer him a job. I've done that for relatives and friends before. There are ways to help without being insulting.

You see, I agree with Obama that offshore drilling is a stop gap solution. And to add to that, it's not a quick fix either. A 2007 Department of Energy study found that access to coastal energy deposits would not add to domestic crude oil and natural gas production before 2030. Leasing wouldn't even be able to begin until 2012. So if offshore drilling is a solution, what are we supposed to do in the meantime?

Others have commented on Obama's Iraq policy.

From my personal perspective, I give the advantage to Obama on all the issues you listed except for immigration because I don't know the policies of either candidate on that one.

How does Obama's decision to not support a man he has no relationship with other than name and blood -- a man who by all accounts has not asked to be supported -- have any bearing on his ability to be a good president? This is just ridiculous.

You know what I think one of the most important things a sitting president can do?

Give American's confidence, make them feel that everything is under control.

Obama has that feel good presence, McCain....looks like he is about to take a dump.

I just get that Reagan-esque feeling about Obama.

obama's not responsible for his half brother. regardless if i know about their relationship or not. for republicans to now suggest that one grown man is responsible for another is the height of hypocrisy

obama doesn't owe his half brother anything, particularlly if his half brother hasn't asked for it. i mean we're talking about a guy that obama has met only once in his entire life and was born and lives 1/2 a world away.

Quit the whining about Obama's half-brother. Obama's half-brother lives in luxury compared to when John McCain was a POW.
