Perspective is in order. Rockets could be paying a few million more per year for a lesser, injury prone version of Anderson. You all know who I'm talking about.

I agree! You can only blame the GM for the players we have. They do the best they can do. It is up to the coach to put the best players they have in the lineup at any given time, and make adjustments when needed. Anderson contributes, and I honestly get tired of all the negativity. Give the guy a little credit for being our 4th best at shot percentage from behind the arc. Sure, maybe he is overpaid, but then again, all players are. Besides, at least he isn't injury prone. Look at all the guys in the league who make millions more, and can't even stay healthy half the time.

Yes, please hold Morey accountable for overpaying for a soft non defensive 6'10" streaky 3 point shooter. He has the confidence of a 6th grader instead of seasoned NBA professional. He should come off the bench and work against the 2nd team 5. The problem is we get murdered in the paint on defense if he's not hitting threes. He can only get his shot off if he's wide open and teams are leaving him.

What it will realistically take for the Rockets to get rid of Anderson is Anderson playing so well for a sustained period of time that no one wants to get rid of Anderson.

Ryan Anderson has 1 game with 7 made 3 pointers this season. He’s played 34 games.

Gerald Green has just done it and he’s played 3 games after being on the street.

Considering our lack of depth I think we need Anderson. He has his bad games but seems to play well with cp3. We got 30 min last night. Maybe it's premature to talk about getting rid of him until we can figure out how to make the team better at the same time

An unfortunate accident? Seriously, I like Anderson. He may be coming out of a slump and starting a hot streak. When is hot, he is on fire.

Anderson showing why we need him, even when he is missing, he helps spread the floor with his range

You dont pay somebody 18M just for space. Any 3 pt shooter in the league can stand at the 3 pt line if "space" is the only thing you needed without the actual pts.

You guys fall under the delusion that if Anderson is somehow contribiting to the team then he is needed. Lota of guys can do what he does at a fraction of the price. They wont shoot at 40% 3 pt fg, but what is the difference between 37% fg and 40% fg when you take so few attempts a game?

have you seen the salaries in the NBA ? they are inflated because of the new TV agreement

it isn't the FGA either, teams have to cover him just for the threat. So FGA don't tell the full story
