    LBJ will not move to a Confederate sh*thole like Texas. He has become very vocal on issues relating to the African American community and will definitely go "Blue" to a place like LA or Philly. As long as any state thinks Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, Ted Cruz and John Cornyn are its "best" it will not get Lebron.

    Nope cause they'll draft Ayton ;) and Bender is a 4 anyway, no reason to give up on him when he's 20 years old and plays in another spot.

    Word on the street , i have a friend who follows bball and he lives in Georgia,He told me that he knows someone in the front office who said that Hawks could use someone like Ryan Anderson to get some spacing and more outside shooting going/ Vet Leader. But They want to unload Miles Plumlee contract as he is highly overpaid scrub at 13 million for 4ppg 4reb a game.

    So They are willing to give Houston 29th 1st and 35th in 2018 draft for taking him on. I would be all down for this, as Houston could use some youth in this draft for there already aging team. To them ryan anderson would be a 16-20 ppg scorer a game in there system as for now as he would be there 2nd option while they are rebuilding. Take it for what its worth.

    Pretty sure Houston voted red during the last election - don't make LBJ out to be a politician please. He only cares about one thing...to make more money from Nike.

    I'm about as progressive as they come and I think this is absolutely silly. I'd love to see all of those clowns voted out of office, but I live in Houston where we haven't seen a Republican elected to the Mayor's office since before I was born (and I'm 41). Texas may still be red (less and less so by the day), but Houston is the most culturally diverse city in the country and is overwhelmingly progressive.

    Hawks got Miles Plumlee in the Dwight Howard trade. They traded Dwight Howard and a 2nd round pick for Miles Plumlee, Marco Belinelli(who later got waived) and a 2nd round pick. If what you said is true, let's do the math:

    Ryno = -2 first round picks;
    Miles Plumlee + 1 first round pick + 1 second round pick = Ryno;
    Dwight Howard = Miles Plumlee

    So Dwight Howard = -3 first round picks - 1 second round pick. If what you said is true, it's really pathetic how negative Hawks management valued Dwight Howard. I mean what could have Dwight done for the Hawks to be willing to give up almost 4 first round picks just to get rid of him?

    I would sacrifice puppies at the Altar of Satan to make this come true. Who would have ever thought anyone could get excited about the prospect of taking on Miles Plumlee for 13 million per year.

    Houston is a very blue city. Incredibly ignorant statement.

    That is the type of contract/situation requisite. Whiteside? M-e-l-o? Someone (more) expensive and unwanted (for reasons of personality or whatever more than basketball reasons). Who are the others so verily unloved, unwanted, unwashed?

    BTW - - do I not recall a cyber hint that sounded so Love-ly?

    Actually i think we would be getting back the 1st we traded to clippers? or maybe thats the minny pick?

    Miles is on a 4 year 50. But is basicly a scrub on rockets(Tarik Black #'s or worse here), they would have to give cash considerations for this to work.

    Houston is the most integrated city I've ever been to and I've traveled all over the world and have been to most major cities.

    key is we have to PLAY him a bit

    get his stats up to 18 points, 8 rebounds and then trade him the Celtics for some of their young guns

    Miles only has 2 years 25M left, Ryan Anderson has 2 years 50M left. They signed the contract in the same off season, when most free agents got overpaid, e.g., Ryno, Biyombo, Deng, etc. Besides Ryan Anderson is not more valuable than Black for the Rockets either.

    I think we are stuck with Ryno for 1 more year. His confidence is totally shot, as is the organization belief in him. He will get to play bench minutes as 5 or 4 depending on matchups during the regular season. Then disappear in the 2019 playoffs. Such is life, we can't get it all.

    Houston not only is just about the most diverse city in the USA, but we had a lesbian mayor, now a black mayor.

    If Lebron wanted to make a difference, doing his part in helping turn Texas blue, it would be by coming to Houston and giving this blue city a greater media platform/exposure..

    enjoying no state income tax would just be a bonus

    If he chooses any place other then Houston he is just showing he doesn't really care about diversity at all. He might as well be a representative of confederate beliefs.
