What Will Happen When Kobe Drives on Shaq on Christmas Day Game?

They said this on PTI today, Kobe will drive on Shaq, Shaq will throw Kobe to the wood and give a little look like"SEE, TOLD YA SO" then offer his hand to Kobe to help him off the floor... I think it sounds about right...

 

What will happen?

I think Shaq will knock him to the floor and WON'T help him up. I wouldn't be surprised if this happened a couple of times during the game


From Shaq's comments, it sounds like he's not in a forgiving mood when it comes to Bryant.

 

I wish you'd included "Kobe gets clothes-lined" as a choice.

 

I have a feeling that this showdown will be a complete fizzer.

 

LOL, I have that same feeling. Shaq probably gets in foul trouble early and sits the whole 2nd quarter. Comes back in to start the 3rd and picks up another 2 quick ones. Back to the bench until 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Both teams probably shoot 30% from the floor and LA wins by about 14. No drama.


I sure hope not. I'd love to see Shaq crack him a couple times and then the Heat win the game with Shaq hitting his free throws down the stretch with Kobe intentionally fouling him.

HOwever, this past 2-3 months I have learned that high expectations often result in huge dissappointment.

How the hell does "all of the above" happen? ;p

 

It wouldnt surprise me at all if they both play it cool during this game.

I mean, I'd love to see Kobe look like he is driving the lane at Shaq....stop just stop, hit a jumper and glare at the big man.....but I doubt it will happen.

Id also like to see Shaq setting the pick all night and just flooring Kobe, or belting Kobe as he drives to the baskets....but I doubt it will happen.

I was going to get ESPN put on for this game alone (Glad I didnt, the TV guide says its not on in Sydney!) but I really just feel that these days players are so worried that they will be made to look bad that they all play its safe when it comes to these showdowns.
