Uh...okay... SAT 1060 ACT 24 HS GPA 3.56 132nd out of 960 College GPA 3.07 - BFA Theater Voted most artistic student 5th grade ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is.
I agree with shanna and SamCassell about these standardized tests mainly testing your test-taking ability. I did very well in high school, but at the time my test-taking strategies weren't all that good (even though I still did well on school tests). Fortunately I have since overcome that hurdle during my college years. SAT - 1170 (Math - 620; Verbal - 550) HS GPA - 6.3 out of 7.0 Class Rank - 59/620 (and our school was quite competitive, you had to work hard if you wanted to finish in the top 20%) ------------------
You guys are going to love this... (my teacher's did!) SAT-1190 HS ranking 600 out of 634! (that is right, I had too much fun in High School.. all of those gifted courses I took earlier made me rebel at school) College GPA-2.6 (double major-Eco and Finance) Don't flame me too much! ------------------ "I never did like that "Dr. Stupid""-Monty Burns
SAT: 1320 HS Rank: Couldn't have been worse than 30, since there were only about 30 kids. Probably top-5 though I never knew my rank. College GPA: 3.25 (Damn those smart people for raising the curve!) Grad GPA: N/A. I'll be taking the GRE's later this spring/summer. Wish me luck. ------------------ RealGM Gafford Art Artisan Cakes

SAT - 1000 ACT - 30 HS Rank - 23/124 Undergrad - 2.9 Grad School - 3.83 (Amazing how your grades rise when you see the $$$ that it can involve!)
I go to college. I skipped hs. Since there is so much free time in college, I hang out at the mall. Actually to be more correct, I hang out whereever the girls are. ------------------ Draftsource.net
He's a MASTER Texas Abstract painter. 67 Year old prolific Mo'Fo' leaves all the trendy young punks in the dust. I mean his house and studio are filled floor to ceiling with beautiful stuff stacked on top of each other. Used to show with Moody for many years. http://www.rubensalinas.com/dickwray.html You should be embarrased by your "art" school! Yeah, thats why I'm an accountant! ------------------ Whatever you want to do, you have to do something else first.
Oily, Was he in the MFA "Texas" show? I recognized the work, just not the name. Besides, I didn't study much contemporary (and certainly not local) so you can't blame the school! The gallery wasn't abstract, either...although I was next door to Barbara Davis (I am a fan of Brian Portman). Oh well... ------------------ Whitey will pay.
When did you make the jump to college and how did you get accepted? I would think you'd need some credentials. ------------------
I'm just speculating here, but I would think that a person could take the GED and then go to a community college for a year before transferring to a four-year University. I'm sure there are other ways, too, since there have been several cases of really smart people going to college early (and not just in movies like Real Genius or that one with Gary Coleman). ------------------ Houston Sports Board
