It's called being under the tutelage of McHale for his entire career. Absolutely no accountability for a lack of work ethic, effort, or commitment. None, it's just an on/off switch depending on the team's energy and momentum.
He was a lot better last year. He was excellent at finishing at the rim, and defended better (like everyone else on the roster). Now he can't make a layup.
Lawson, Brewer have easily been worse, I'd also put Beverley below Jones for the season so far as well. Everybody has been **** though, everybody besides Capela basically. Howard has been decent but he isn't meeting expectations.
He has been horrible at defense his entire career, and despite his above average handle he never makes creative passes. That's just low BB IQ and probably can never be improved.
