She was a bad candidate but Barack himself would've also lost this election. Outside of Trump starting a war the Dems will lose in 4 years as well. The problems are much deeper than simply "politicians". There's an aura that's permeating this country that people are tired of. And it's led by the liberals. Here's a hint: the word 'patriarchy'.
Where do you get your numbers from? Every source I can find points to 20%, which is a valid enough number to use for this point, but Mark Robinson is a black racist Nazi, so they certainly can be. Latino men made the biggest difference of any racial & gender combination from last election to this one. It is a remarkable turnaround. Very clearly the messaging of illegal migrants receiving all of these benefits was a huge deciding factor, as I know that created a lot of anger among Latinos I know.
Anyone directly attributing her gender or race (Obama idiot???) are completely disconnected from mainstream America. Trump ran a damn good campaign: He formed a coalition from Democrat establishment rejects, including Musk, Vivek, RFK Jr, Gabbard, Rogan, ect ... He dodged a bullet that resulted from an incompetent USSS under the Biden administration. He campaigned relentlessly, going on podcasts and appealing to the youth. He had many of the Silicon Valley founders and VC's supporting him by promising to remove DEI hires like Lina Khan. This was HUGE. He went with a moderate position He hit Pennsylvania hard He capitalized on social trends (thanks to very confidential information that only Musk would have from X) like Peanut The Squirrel (which had absolutely nothing to do with politics) and driving around in a garbage truck. Musk using the X app to amplify anything that would help Trump or hurt the Democrats. (So much for the criticism about buying twitter) Zuck and Bezos sat this one out, as many others. Keep in mind these are very power sources of information, especially Meta. Harris's accomplishments? She convinced everyone to make her campaign personal. She appealed to women by using trendy psychology tricks, like using her first name instead of her last name or appealing to them by being 'middle class' or trying to use empathy as a means to connect with people. She was all feel-good nonsense. Harrises failures: Not running a real campaign. Everything was scripted. Completely obvious. Every interview was the same thing over and over. Not having real in-depth conversations with people Picking that idiot Walz over Schapiro Not speaking in detail about policies, economics or world affairs. Her solution was to give away more free stuff. Overall, Harris was one of the dumbest people to put on the ticket. She wasn't given the nomination because she was a DEI hire, but because she would inherit Bidens war chest. The sheer stupidity of the Democrat establishment to choose money over competency says everything you need to know. If this current Democrat establishment still exists in 2028 (Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, ect ...), Vance will easily get 8 years. Democrat voters need to stop playing victim and take their party back. You guys did not vote Harris as the nomination. Stop blaming Trump for everything and fault the Democrat establishment. Many intelligent democrat voters stayed home, voted 3rd party or voted for Trump.
I would say she is not a good candidate, but Trump isn't one either. I voted for her because I cannot vote for Trump, Trump can get away with not qualified but she cannot.
The public had two choices. Trump winning doesn't necessarily scream that the public loves him. Despite all his baggage, it just shows us that the public votes with their wallets, otherwise Trump should of won in 2020, but he didn't.
He didn’t anything to create his economy. All he had to do is not **** up what Obama left. He eventually did, as he always does with his businesses.
We don’t know what we want. We’re too far removed from what our grandparents, etc did to get us here. We think we’re hungry. We aren’t. You can’t be hungry if you’re full.
Let's revisit this in four years. Here is my view, we are going down the path of neither side know what to do really, so we keep replacing the party in power and move down the slope each time.
That's because the public thought Biden-Harris wouldn't mess things up, but we can certainly call 2020 an anomaly considering the bellwether counties are accurately prediticting the presidency again
I disagree with you, I truly believe Americans were voting with their wallets. That was really why I always thought Trump was favored. I thought maybe abortion could sway the public, especially based on recent elections that had shown somewhat of a trend of abortion being a huge issue for the public, but ultimately I was wrong on that thinking, it really boiled down to money.
If you didn't see this coming or thought Kamala even has a shot, you must be living under a rock. Women don't even ask men out on dates and you expect them to run the country all of a sudden? Alec Baldwin could've done a better job than Kamala and he shot someone on set lmfao
(Harris voter here)I think this was messed up from day 1 of the Biden/Harris administration. I voted Biden, I assumed he would be a 1 term president and Kamala would run in 2024. But the misstep is no one told Joe that, she was out of sight for 3+ years when she could have been a much more visible part of the administration. So when she got the nod in July, she was a virtual unknown to the average voter where Trump has been on their TV every day for almost 10 years at this point.
