The Rockets from here on end, can just learn that every game they play won't be a gimme. Whereas the first two thirds of the season was a learning, get to know the system kind of atmosphere, now that the playoffs are a real possibility, something's actually at stake. The games from now on, count more than they did earlier in the season.

Of course, they could say-- now they know there are some or a number of teams that are better than them. Better now, yes, sure, maybe or a whole lot better even. But not absolutely better that they can't aspire to beat them. Any team in this league on any given day is beatable. The Rockets can beat any team in the NBA as long as the players accept who they are and who theyaren't, then work from there to get better.

They just have to create the possibility of getting better. Declare that they are going to get better. Then work towards achieving the goal of making a reality what they just declared.

Nothing is impossible. It's possible to beat Denver. It's possible to beat LA. It's possible to beat Miami. Difficult ? Yes. Impossible, hell no.

What's the point of putting up a team/roster if you don't want to win?

You gotta to play the game. You gotta play to win. You gotta play fair.

If the playing field is fair, and the Rockets declare that they are going to be the best team in the NBA, what's there to stop them but themselves?

We learn that if you're forced to watch the Denver broadcast, you see that Scott Hastings is a petty, disrespectful, negative human being, and makes watching games with them very difficult unless you turn the sound down. It really makes you appreciate our broadcast team even more.

Ya, there's a homer, and there's a down right disrespectful douche. What is "sometimes you get lucky as suppose good"? And when Lin scored again, there he went again "sometimes you get lucky twice."
