We are built to stop their offense. We switch everything and they cant do **** except shooting with a hand in their face. However we need both Harden and CP3 to step up and shoot better than the two previous series. If out role players can step up too and make those wide open threes, I am very optismistic on this series.

Morey built this team to defend the forward spots and the wing position, adding Tucker and Mboute to tag team with Ariza and to a lesser degree Harden.Their ability to slow down Durant and Thompson will be key to the Rockets' victory.

They're probably the best ever defensive PnR team. Unfortunately for them, we are probably the best offensive PnR team of all time. If we attack them inside early in the clock, Green won't be able to cope. We get in trouble when we take 3's too early and attack the basket with barely any time on the clock.

Also, I did some research, and I can't even visualize this being true, but a lot of people on reddit in 2016 named Chris Paul as a surprisingly good defender on Durant (when he was in OKC). Wonder if that will materialize, but I don't know how Durant doesn't just shoot jumpers over him.

Sadly, this is prohibitive. Because of his slow foot speed, Anderson has to sag an extra couple of feet back from the guy he's guarding at the arc. And against the Warriors, that's death. Hard to see him making up in shooting percentage what he'd cost us in opponent's shooting percentage.
