I got like 1560 on the old ones, 2340 on the new ones. SAT scores by themselves dont get you into the best college though.
I think it woul be interesting if everyone put their ethnicity next to their SAT score. I think there is a lot more emphasis put on SAT scores if you are asian.
1180 in 1988 710 of it verbal (am a mathophobe) at the time that was a decent score (2nd best in my HS I believe) my PSAT was better...I was like a National Merit finalist and got all kinds of literature from eastern liberal arts colleges.
Never took it. My future was decidely unbright Of course its going to be people who scored well that will post their scores
I did 900 in 1992 during junior year, went back and did 960 in 1993. This is truly a test to see what you've learned. It is NOT a biased test, SHAQ. I loved the fact that the VALEDICTORIAN and SALUTATORIAN chicks had like ~700 ... hilarious stuff. They didn't want to tell other people what they got 'cuz they thought we'd laugh at them. We did.
I took it once, got a 1280. Wish I had taken it once more, because a 1300 sonds so much better than a 1280.
Another pissing contest? Once you start college these things are worthless anyways. Mine: 1340 in 1996. Strangely enough, I always do better on verbal than math in standardized tests. Even on my GMAT. And I am definitely a math guy.
I took the test twice and the first time got a 1390 then three years later took it again and only got a 1040
1140... I thought I did REAL bad cus all my friends were 1300's-1400's... Then I went to UH and a Hotel Management advisor was like "that's fantastic!" cus apparently my freshmen year (03) the average SAT scores are in the 900's for UH students. I heard the SAT's are significantly harder now.. added more stuff, as if there weren't enough stress involved with the original SAT's
I got a 1010, I had gone out to eat the night before at a mexican restaurant and I had the a mild case of the runs the next morning on test day. It was bad, I guess I should have taken it again.
