The safety from OU. The other one (the "good" one, right? :) ) is still in school.

    Bogey, I work for Topps.

I once started snoring during a speech by my former boss at a division meeting when he was discussing the great work that I and a coworker had done on a project.

Let's just say I never heard the end of that one... even to this day.

Hahahahahaha. I laughed out loud at this one. Not at you accusing your co-worker that he had stolen your helmet, but the fact that your shoe-shine boys had graduated from OU and A&M!!! Is that the best job they could find??? LOL.

When I was working at my uncles store at a mall, the toilet in my uncle's store had a problem and started leaking. And since my uncle is older he would make me do the dirty stuff and the lame work. Well, he didn't have a plunger and the only extra plunger was across the other side of the mall in the main restroom. Yea... he wanted me to get it.. i was like "GRAHHHh noOOoOOOO". And this is a mall here.... where the fine ladies live and born... So it took me about 30 minutes just to run across the other side of the mall.. get the plunger and walk alllll the way back to the store in front of all the fine ladies. . :( wo0o0o0oooooo.... good thing that was over.. oh yea.. and the pay was weak!!! Thats the last time id work for my uncle

At my job we do as much IM-based communication as phone calls, so I usually have IM up all day. I also chat with my wife who works from the house. One afternoon I sent my wife an IM saying "Heading home for lunch", closed the box (but forgot to turn off the IM program), and left for home.

Since I hadn't shut down the program, my wife still saw I was online, so she IMed me "Coming home soon?"

One of my coworkers saw the message pop up and typed in a reply: "Right now. Wanna quickie? ;) "

My wife then replied "Sure thing. :D "

When I got home, my wife jumped me. We never discussed the IM chat, I just figured she wanted a nooner. This led to me being rather late to return to the office, so once I got dressed and was in the car, I called from the car and gave a weak-ass excuse about being stuck in traffic. My receptionist said she'd pass on the news to my coworkers, so I figured I was fine.

When I walked on the trade floor I got a standing ovation, which I couldnt figure out.....until I got to my computer and saw the IM conversation still sitting there.

Now whenever I go home for lunch I get a bunch of interesting comments when I return.
