my list would include what has been mentioned. but did anyone here have fun playing Rygar and Trojan. those were two fun games. also can anyone here rememer a game where you flew an airplane from the right side of t.v. to the left and you bombed stuff on the ground and i think shot airplanes. you could also play 2 players. that was a really fun one also.
ok i did my research. found a screenshot. http://www.arcadeathome.com/shots3.php?skykid me and my brother played this on 2 player a million times dont think i ever beat it though.
Super Mario Bros. Super Mario Bros. 2 Zelda II (underrated) Tetris DuckTales I can never really get into Super Mario Bros. 3 any more. I'll have to bust out Mario All-Stars one day and take advantage of the save feature so I can casually go completely through that monster.
Ha, I had completely forgotten about DuckTales! I didn't care for the TV show, but for some reason I really loved the game. I think I pulled my first all-nighter playing that game. Another one I just thought of: Yo Noid! -- It was really pretty fun Did anyone ever beat The Simpsons game? Bart vs. The Aliens is what I think it was called. I don't think I ever got past the mall, it was so difficult. Ice Hockey was awesome too. I played it the other day on my dreamcast (I have a CD that emulates every NES game) -- I got my ass kicked! I used to be so good at that game. Another one I just thought of: Robin Hoodrince of Thieves. I think I may have been the only person ever to play that game, and especially all the way through. I loved the movie so I got the game. I remember it being decent, but nothing special.
yes, ice levels in games usually suck, but in this game they were fun. i'd play them over and over again. i was the master at the jumpducking and avoiding those little flying bastards with the pitchforks. just had to make sure that you didn't turn around and go back to the beginning of the stage. never did memorize they're flying patterns backwards. anyway... there was another fun game track and field game using the powerpad. helluva lot of fun with a group of people. the way to master the long jump was the shake your feet on the pad (w/o picking them up) to run, then for the jumping part... step off of the mat, and when you get close to the ground in the game, step back on the mat. cheating maybe, but you can set some bad arse records. wasn't like i was using game genie or something.
Excitebike RC ProAm Mario Bros. 2 Ikari Warriors Tecmo Bowl And I don't think the following have been mentioned: Pro Wrestling Bubble Bobble Marble Madness Kung Fu Gauntlet
Baseball Stars was the best Nintendo game ever. To this date, they haven't made a better baseball game than Baseball Stars.
I never lost in Blades of steel once i got to master it....pissed a lot of people off in the process lol.
Super Tecmo Bowl in a landslide. I mean, who DOESN'T remember the music as their star player returned to game action, running out of the hospital? Who hasn't ran for 700 yards in a game with Barry Sanders (in between injuries)? And who hasn't scored 100+ points on the Cincinnati Bengals in that game? It gets me teary eyed just thinking about it.
any of you guys use MAME to play all your favorite games on ROMs...i do that every once and a while...it's so much fun.
