I dont have one favorite but here a list: TMNT 2 and 3 Bionic comando Contra Punch out double dragon Adventures in magic kingdom (i dont remember if is the correct title but in the game you ride a lot games of disney world)
Excellent call on that one and whoever said Little Nemo the Dream Master. Was the game made first (before the movie) because that was a very cool game for its time. The graphics seemed more vivid than most. Very rare for a movie to be based on an NES game. Well actually there were lots but they all sucked. Double Dragon? Mario? come on. The Wizard with Fred Savage beats all them.
All the Super Mario Bros. games, but Mario 2 was my favorite as well. Mario 3 was really cool, but ther was something special about Mario 2....I typically used Mario, but toad was my favorite. That guy hauled ass. As for the rest: Castlevania 1 and 2 Mike Tyson's Punch Out Blades of Steel (I was the Oilers cuz they wer the HOUSTON OILERS. In my mind, at any rate. I didn't give a flip about hockey. I just went with what I knew.) Metroid -- "Justin Bailey," anyone? The Legend of Zelda The Adventures of Link RC ProAm Skate or DIE!!! Contra Double Dragon Pro Wrestling -- StarMan KILLED. Batman -- the one where all the baddies were easily twice as large as Bats. The soundtrack was awesome. DragonWarrior -- My first RPG with real graphics (minus Ultima, of course).
Double Dragon 3, and TMNT 3. These were my favorites because they're the only nintendo games I've ever beaten,. All other games eventually began to annoy me to no end when I had to try over and over(each time from the beginning) due to my pathetic gaming skills. Memory card for me might be the greatest video game invention ever.
yeah, princess is definitely the best for ice due to the floating at one elevation ability. i think i use princess for world 7 but it seems like i beat wart with toad so i'm not sure. luigi for world 5 and the digging and definitely for 5-3 b/c he's the only one who can jump up to the warp. toad for the early worlds for his speed and ability to pick things up quickly. i never use mario.
That was Contra's code. BTW, a friend of mine has a good line. He'll go up to a girl and ask "do you think I'm hot?" If she says "no". He'll go "OK" TRIANGLE LEFT RIGHT TRIANGLE CIRCLE SQUARE CIRCLE LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT UP DOWN TRIANGLE SQUARE" "OK, how about now?" Believe it or not, this line works.
Nobody has thrown out Baseball Stars. By far the best baseball game and right up there with SuperTecmo Bowl as best sports game.
This is, quite possibly, the saddest post ever. Welcome to 1986. Historical events: Lindsay Lohan was born The Olsen twins were born. Newly discovered Bon Jovi enters the charts Madonna is goog looking Teen Wolf is the newest hit
Blaster Master - can't believe nobody's mentioned this one yet Metal Gear Mega Man 2 Kid Icarus Ninja Gaiden 2 River City Ransom - You guys know there's a remake of this for the GBA? Final Fantasy Castlevania 3 Solar Jetman
Speaking of Nintendo, there is a really cool trance mix out there that features some of the sounds from the original Super Mario Brothers. I heard it on the iTunes Goa-Psy Trance radio station. Does anyone know its name?
Although that could match the description I gave, it's not the song I heard. This was more of a psychedelic trance/deep progressive sound. Anyhow, I'll keep snooping.
I heard that even if you beat that game it just starts over with a new, slightly-less-believable premise. This goes on for at least like ten iterations.
