I just think 2009 in general was a big WTF for a lot of people. I can't think of one person who had a great year this year. It was just bad across the board. Hopefully 2010 will be much better.
Why not, im over it now. Things started to get weird last november. Her ex was hanging out with her brother who she lived with. Yea i know right how could that end good. So she breaks up with me at the start of last december. But we were still trying to make it work, well i was because she had the personality of lets say pam off the office you know what most guys would want. But she stops letting me go through her phone which i had always done, not like "who the **** you talking to" but just curious, bored i guess, and i was looking through it and she was like you just cant go through my phone anymore, i didnt know how to take that, it had been two years of me being able to do things like that and then she says that, so i figured out why she wouldnt let me, she had been talking to her ex. So i flip out break two cell phones and call dude and cuss him out and he was like "Its nothing man, theres nothing between us", meaning him and my ex of about a month. So we start hanging out again, not going out but me buying her lunch and taking her to the mall, basicaly back together just not officially. So im sort of happy now not walking around like a zombie and im walking around in walmart with one of my friends and my ex's brother calls me and tells me to sit down. And he tells me she is pregnate with the guys baby. Now, its been about a year. The guy she had the baby with, dosent take care of the baby, or helps her out with anything. And she has begged me back so many times, BUT NO b****, aint gonna happen, would never be the same. So, lets go 2010 :grin:
I had a girl I loved tell me she had cancer and then disappear on me. Only to resurface 8 months later, having married and moved to Waco. That was pretty wtf.
Ditto. I didn't mind so much getting laid off, because I'm currently back at school full time, but the time after I got laid off there were some interesting things that happened to me. I've over 2009 now and ready for a brand new decade.
Oh ya. This one for me easily. I was at a pool party drinking some scotch and looked at CF on my phone and saw the news. No one even believed me when I told them. I didn't even believe me. Crazy.
Mine was probably: Twins I'm sure you'll be happy to know that 2009 was a pretty good year for me. Now, when you think about how it seems like 2009 sucked for everybody, you'll say, "except JV. He had a great year!"

Mine started Sept. '08 1. Ike leaves us homeless/jobless 2. Ike messes my parents house up pretty bad (livable). 3. April '09 grandfather passes away. 4. June '09 grandmother passes away (on her 84th birthday)...*side note: My wife's grandfather passed away the day before...funerals are the same day (one in Galveston one in Corpus). 5. July '09 got a new puppy...he pee'd on the couch the other day. I smile everyday!
