    the Mavs and the Nets.

I was just thinking about Deron Williams and was wondering if the Rockets would have the cap space to offer more than the Mavs and Nets.

Thanks and I apologize if I posted on the wrong board.

They all can have what it takes to sign a player to a max, it is up to Deron whether he wants to go home to a classy team like Dallas or slump with Houston or another team.

    Nets capspace is irrelevant (mostly).

He is under contract with them unless he opts out.
If he opts out it's a fair sign he doesn't actually want to play with them?

(slim chance he opts out to re-sign --> not sure exactly how that would work out)

Not sure why ANY player would want to come to the Rockets. Stars get treated like trash here.

That all changes when we trade for Dwight.

$$$$$.....and of course H-Town is a pretty sweet place to live.

I disagree with the statement that "Stars get treated like trash here.", but everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I also didn't realize that he is under contract with them unless he opts out.

Thanks to the poster who pointed that out.

Deron Williams for the season avg. 21pts, 9asst, 3rbds

Goran Dragic for the month of March( because of late starting ) avg. 20pts, 7asst., 3rbds

    Enough.
