I love how this team is built, all home-grown stars, none of them being top lottery picks(good player development), all play unselfishly and everyone plays team defense. Very disciplined. If Granger can give them anything, I think the only thing stopping them from winning the chip is mental fortitude and pressure. The talent and chemistry is there.
Love my rockets but this pacers team is stacked with talent. They got freaking scola off the bench. I can definitely see them beating Miami in a 7 game series to get to the Finals. Their defense is ridiculous
It stopped them the last 2 years against Miami and it might again. It's good the Pacers are playing so well now and I'm rooting for them to come out of the East, but if George Hill can barely dribble against pressure 35 feet away from the basket in crunch time and PG pulls another disappearing act in a game 7, they will fail once again.
Before the season started, I made the comment that the Pacers and Nets were both overrated. Couldn't have been more wrong about one or more right about the other.
