What is your choice about what to do with Francis?

Can't we offer Miller the same deal if he's in our uniform when his contract is up? Whether or not Steve signs with them becomes their problem.

Maybe, but would Cleveland want Francis if they weren't sure they could sign him? Cleveland doesn't look a whole lot more pleasing than Houston. The only way that would work is in a sign and trade

Hasn't Davis allegedly requested a trade of his own accord, indicating a refusal to play in New Orleans?

I've heard New Orleans say that they wouldn't trade Davis under any circumstances. I haven't heard anything out of Davis on the matter..

Francis for the #2 pick (Jay Williams) and equalizers plus we keep the #1 (Ming). Yes, I have heard of him. That's why I want to keep him!

So, we would get the best PG in the draft, another player on the Bulls, AND Ming? No way the Bulls would let us do that...

Actually in his 2nd year we had the best record EVER to not make the playoffs. It's sort of hard to blame him for last year when he was injured and battling migraines. Steve is the Franchise, get used to it.

And to all you wanting to trade for Miller, Davis, and for who knows what reason--WILLIAMS...

Davis is almost identical to Francis and actually a little worse. He just has a better frontcourt and been playing in a weaker conference. Williams couldn't hold Francis' jock. He hasn't proven anything. He's more of a 2guard posing as a point as Steve. He doesn't have better court vision, defense, or decision-making. He can't shoot better, handle better, and is not as athletic. He wont get 6 assists and 6 rebounds a game as well. Steve is not just an all-star because of popularity but also because of skill. He definitely has room to improve, but he's only been playing 2 full seasons, HAS shown improvement, is willing to improve, loves to play, has a great desire to win, and people overreact and want to dump him. This is a team that has pretty good chemistry and when everyone is healthy with two more additions can become extremely dangerous. We can't go swapping players around like cattle, they need consistency and stability. Don't lose faith for good things are to come...

giddyup: Gund has the Cavs on the market; move them to Charlotte with Bird's group.

I've heard New Orleans say that they wouldn't trade Davis under any circumstances. I haven't heard anything out of Davis on the matter..
giddyup: I've just heard the rumors. Of course, N.O. says NO initially-- that drives up the price!

So, we would get the best PG in the draft, another player on the Bulls, AND Ming? No way the Bulls would let us do that...
giddyup: Don't forget, the Bulls get Francis. I don't know what the equalizer is but surely we can't swap Francis for Williams even?!?

I think NJRocket has the idea.....

You dont find many players who can consistently get 20/6/6 a night.

Steve is the man.
