Thinking of going to Galveston on Sat. with a few friends for a night. What is there to do? What beaches are the best? Where to go out at night? Good place to eat? What hotel to stay at? Thanks for your help....
Didn't think it was that special, though I only went on it once. There's this one ride though on the Pleasure Pier called Cyclone which was pretty fun.
Ditto on Pleasure Pier but be warned, it's actually kinda small, the pictures on the site makes it seems like its stretches for days on end....
we're going there next weekend. anybody knows how's the beach in terms of being clean, seaweeds... etc? thanks.
The Cyclone is a coaster. I'm heading there next weekend. Does anyone know how many of the rides have opened on the pier? Trying to figure out if I should buy a ticket per ride, or buy the all-ride pass.
We were there a couple of weeks back and the entire beach across from the San Luis was nothing but seaweed. Nasty.
Believe it or not, it used to be worse a few years ago. Galveston has cleaned up somewhat since then.
